Microsoft Launches Refreshed Nokia 105 With Dual-SIM Variant

Launching a refreshed version of the very popular Nokia 105 feature
phone, which was launched in 2013, Microsoft on Wednesday unveiled the
Nokia 105 (2015) and Nokia 105 (2015) Dual SIM. The handset (and its

predecessor. Priced at $20 before taxes and subsidies, the device will
reach only select markets in single and dual-SIM versions.
The Nokia 105 (2015) runs on Series 30+ up from its previous version's
Series 30 and comes the same 1.4-inch (128x128 pixel) LCD display as
well as the same alphanumeric keyboard but in a slimmer candybar form
factor. It bears the same capacity 800mAh battery, rated to deliver up to
15 hours of talk time and up to 35 days of standby time.
The feature phone, besides being available in an extra colour variant of
White, can now store up to 2000 contacts and comes preinstalled with
games like Snake Xenzia and Bubble Bash 2. "With an extended
phonebook capacity, the new Nokia 105 can store up to 2,000 contacts. No
matter how many people and companies you connect with, you'll always
have space to save their contact details and make new connections!," said
the Lumia Conversations blog post.
FM radio and torch applications are also included. Measuring
108.5x45.5x14.1mm, the Nokia 105 (2015) is slightly taller, broader and
slimmer than its predecessor, which measures 107x44.8x14.3mm. A more
rounded design of the feature phone is also easy to hold. Dual-SIM variant
of the new Nokia 105 weighs 69.6 grams, while the single-SIM variant
weighs 69.8 grams. Notably, the smartphone supports regular SIM cards.
